What a run it has been this season by the Albany Firewolves in their third season here in the Capital Region.  They had only three wins last year and now they are in the semifinals in the National Lacrosse League.  They have a matchup with the San Diego Seals who are a very good team and there will be a home game Sunday at 3 p.m. at the MVP Arena.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
Head coach Glenn Clark has done a remarkable job in turning around the Albany FireWolves from a three-win team a year ago to a playoff team this season. Clark went out and recruited younger and faster and it's paid off with his team reaching the National Semifinals against San Diego and another home game on Sunday. Veteran goaltender Dougie Jameson is having a career season and big reason why the FireWolves are a series win away from reaching the NLL Championship. This season also energized the fan which was much need on year three of a five-year with MVP Arena.

MJ and I had on the star goalie Doug Jamieson earlier this morning as part of Follow The Pack which we've had all season long.  Below is our full conversation with him:

I love the Firewolves chances of moving on to the NLL Championship.  I expect a big crowd on Sunday afternoon as well at the MVP Arena as the Firewolves winning ways here recently have attracted even more fans which is awesome.
