Last night, the 2018 MLB Draft officially started and in a strange twist it was not the Detriot Tigers' number one overall selection of Casey Mize that stole the national headlines. Instead, it was the Oakland Atheltics selection at number nine overall of Oklahoma baseball player Kyler Murray. Murray, a former highly coveted high school quarterback who signed with  Texas A&M, transfered to Norman, Oklahoma in 2016. After backing up Heisman Trophy winner and #1 NFL draft pick Baker Mayfield last season, Murray is poised to be the starter this season. However, the offer by Oakland may be too good for Murray to pass up. This past season on the diamond, Murray hit 296 with 10 homers, 47 RBI, 46 runs and a .398 on-base percentage over 51 games.

Levack and Goz will discuss this predicament at 3:330pm. If you were Kyler Murray what would you do? Play quarterback at Oklahoma or take the 4.7 million dollars and sign with the Oakland Athletics? Let us know below.
