2 Guys 1 Mic Podcast – Yankees, C.C. Sabathia/Pettitte Injury, Mets, Bicycles on the Road, Euro 2012
On this week’s edition of the 2 Guys 1 Mic Podcast, I’m joined by Pierce Brix to talk about Summer’s most annoying nusance, the Yankees/Mets, and some of the day’s other topical sports stories. Once Brixy departs, Mark Graydon and Jeffery Sandler make their returns to the Podcast to talk about Euro 2012, rehash an old Outrageous Claim, and spin off on a series of equally ridiculous yet entertaining tangents. Remember to check the links below to like our Facebook page and follow me on Twitter for updates throughout the week.
Today we open the show with a rant aimed at the worst part of summer: bicyclists. Slowly, we transition into a discussion about the Yankees and their recently injured star pitchers.**iPad and iPhone Users: Click the red link below the audio player to download each segment.**
Coming out of the Yankee talk, Brix and I slip into a little Mets discussion, before playing the first ever edition of Overrated/Underrated, where we debate the standing of MLB’s use of weekday day games, and Joe Buck’s announcing – the latter devolving into a greater discussion of “Whom would you rather be: Charlie Sheen, or Emilio Estevez?”
In Segment 3, Mark Graydon and Jeffery Sandler take the place of the deaprting Mr. Brix, and discuss the ongoing Euro 2012 soccer tournament.
An old Outrageous Claim makes its return in Segment 4, as Mark believes he has come up with an argument to refute my theory that with only soccer on our plate, Americans would dominate international play.
In some bonus 2 Guys 1 Mic, we open discussing whether or not you’d like your team to lose rather than face a dominating rival. That conversation lasts only so long, however, as the tangents take hold and all is lost.
