2018 Home Run Derby Participants Announced

The field for the 2018 Home Run Derby has officially been released. The home run derby will serve as day one of the all star week festivities for Major League Baseball. Unfortunately for Yankee fans Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge will not be in this year's event Below is this year's field

1. Jesus Aguiliar, Brewers vs. 8. Rhys Hoskins Phillies
4. Alex Bregman, Astros vs. 5. Kyle Schwarber, Cubs

Right side of bracket
2. Bryce Harper, Nationals vs. 7 Freddie Freeman, Braves
3. Max Muncy, Dodgers vs. 6. Javier Baez, Cubs

Seeding was determined by total home runs this season. Bryce Harper is the only player who has participated in a MLB Home Run Derby in this year's field.
