The San Diego Chargers and St. louis Rams have agreed upon a stadium and relocation proposal that would make both teams play in the same stadium in Inglewood, California.
This would mean that the Chargers would be accepting the Rams relocation proposal and officially move to Los Angeles California. This decision to relocate also means that neither team would have to change conferences because they each represent opposing conferences; they can even stay in their current divisions.
Many of the Chargers players were against the move. Before the Chargers were even given the opportunity to relocate, players such as quarterback Phillip Rivers and safety Eric Weddle voiced their displeasure with the organizations desire to move the team ffrom San Diego.
Oddly enough the agreement comes the exact day where Raiders owner Mark Davis was set to visit with Las Vegas Sands chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson to explore a possible move to Las Vegas. The Raiders were also in the mix for a return to L.A. but were declined relocation by the NFL.
How do you feel about two teams being in L.A.?
