During a time where the Mets wouldn't mind a viable closer falling in their laps, rapper and Queens native 50 Cent missed his opportunity in what some are calling, "the worst first pitch of all-time".

In his in-game interview, 50 Cent explained that the reason the first pitch was so bad is because it actually wasn't 50 Cent throwing the baseball.

"That was Curtis Jackson," said 50 Cent, using his real name. "I don't even like it when he comes around here. I don't want him around here. 50 Cent is the best. Curtis Jackson? I don't know what's the matter with him."
