8-Year Old Girl Dominates Boys Football [VIDEO]

Sam Gordon is one bad mama jama.  This 8-year old girl is a woman among boys.  You absolutely need to check this video out.

I have to admit that I rolled my eyes when this video started.  It wasn’t because the video features a female football player.  It was because of the random statistics that flashed across the screen.  8.2 yards per carry?  Really?  I thought, “Oh, boy.  Here we go with the overzealous campaign to try to prove this girl is beyond legit.”

I was totally sold on Sam Gordon once the video started though.  This girl is seriously awesome.  It looks like she gets shot out of a canon when she begins each run.  She’s got moves.  She switches the ball to the arm that’s closest to the sideline.  Her awareness is off the charts.

I also love the final minute of this video.  Sam Gordon can take a big hit.  She can also deliver hits with the best of them.  I got a lot of enjoyment out of watching this 8-year old girl play the game the way it’s meant to be played.  Great stuff, Sam.  Keep it up.

My highlight tape isn’t nearly as good as Sam Gordon’s is.  However, below are some of my highlights back in grade school and high school in South Bend, IN.  Whether you grow up in South Bend, Albany, happen to be male or female, it’s very apparent if you love the great game of football.  Sam Gordon and I definitely have that in common.
