Aaron Hernandez Found Guilty Of First Degree Murder
Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been found guilty of first degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd on June 17, 2013.
Hernandez' mother and fiancee, as well as the family of Odin Lloyd, were in attendance at his court appearance Wednesday. Many people began to cry, and Hernandez shook his head in disbelief, as the verdict was delivered.
This comes as a small surprise as much of the evidence was circumstantial. Hernandez faces life in prison and awaits trial in the July 16, 2012, shooting of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado, who were killed in a drive-by shooting after leaving a popular Boston nightclub..
