Adirondack Flames Mascot Unveiled With Controversy [VIDEO]

The Adirondack Flames mascot "Scorch" looks good, has great moves and has everyone talking. What more could you want from a mascot? Truth is poor Scorch is is feeling the heat (sorry for the pun) after his video unveiling met with bad reviews.

If you read the video Scorch is the lone surviving flame from the fire that ravaged Glans Falls in 1864. Well people were ticked that it looks like Scorch is standing over a fallen firefighter. Let's be honest people that wasn't the teams intent. It's a cool back story and if poor Scorch danced off with the firefighter we'd all say "Oh greet" and move on. So let's all agree it was a simple error in judgement and welcome Scorch and the Flames to the area.
