After A Big Weekend, NCAA Could Be in Albany More Often

The fact that UConn fans had an easy travel to Albany made all the difference in the large attendance figures, but 20,000 fans for the two day NCAA Regionals at the Times Union Center was still impressive. The fans weren’t all from Connecticut. Buffalo brought a lot of fans on Saturday, and the Capital District showed great support too. It was a chance for college hoop fans to see the No.1 team in the country play, and they took full advantage. The Fan Fest held in the Atrium before the games was also a huge hit.
