As Rodger Wyland first reported on 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio, Ahsante Shivers is leaving the Siena men's basketball program. Shivers is coming off surgery and would presumably been headed towards a key role as a junior in the Saints backcourt, but a source close to the program says Shivers asked for his release and will transfer.

In his sophomore season, the 2017-'18 year, Shivers averaged eight points a game. He played in all 32 games and started 21 of them. With his departure from Loudonville, Shivers joins Prince Oduro, Jordan Horn, Nico Clareth and Roman Penn as players who have transferred since Jimmy Patsos' split with Siena.
