Led by the man in the mask Keith Kinkaid and a pair of goals off the stick of Joe Whitney the Albany Devils continued to dominate their chief rival Adirondack Friday night 4-1. The win was the 5th this season in 7 games against the Phantoms.

Kinkaid has been red hot in the nets for Albany. The win was his 13th of the season and his 12th in his last 16 starts. He stopped 26 shots against Adirondack.

These 2 rivals battle every year for the Times Warner Cable Cup. Right now Albany leads the season series 5-2.

Kinkaid showed he was ready in the 1st period stopping a penalty shot by the Phantoms Harry Zolnierczyk with 5;18 left in the opening stanza. At the time the Devils were leading 1-0.

Besides Whitney's 2 markers, Albany got goals from Matt Anderson and Kelly Zajack. Steve Zalewski dished 2 assists.

These combatants will do battle again on Saturday night back in Albany.
