Leach backed up his words by notching the 1st 2 goal game of his career and Joe Whitney scored his career high 24th goal leading the Devs.

In net Keith Kinkaid picked up his 19th win of the season and his 36th while playing for Albany, leaving him 2 behind the franchise mark held by Mark McKenna.

Kinkaid and his mates picked up a HUGE 2 points in the standings..Coming in they were 13th in the eastern conference and battling along with the Hershey Bears for a playoff spot. In case of any tie breaker issues, the Devils also garnered their 3rd win of the year against the Bears.

The Devils also got goals from Darcy Zajak and Cam Janssen.

The Devils also were busy shuffling up the roster a bit. They signed former NJ Devils 4th round draft pick Reid Boucher. The left winger had been playing with Sarnia of the OHL. They also agreed to terms on a tryout basis with defenseman Joe Merrill. The deal is officially called an amateur tryout. Merrill was a 2nd round pick of New Jersey out of Michigan University.
