After making the playoffs a season ago, the Albany Dutchmen are back and ready to start up another season in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL).

The Dutchmen feature players from several prominent D-I programs, including Coastal Carolina. But they also feature local players from Siena and UAlbany.

We brought in head coach Nick Davey today to talk about the season that lay ahead (the opener is June 1). The Dutchmen play their home games at Bellizzi Field on the campus of St. Rose and we asked about what that is like for Davey, who is a St. Rose graduate.

Furthermore, Davey reiterated the need for host families for some of his teams players and stated how people could get involved in that process.

Finally, we spoke with Davey about Ian Anderson, who he calls the best prep arm he's ever seen in this area.
