The Albany Empire will have to wait at least one more week before they play their second game of the season. The Empire's game this weekend against the Washington Valor has been postponed. The Valor share the same venue as the NBA's Washington Wizards and the NHL's Washington Capitals. Both teams have qualified for their respective postseasons and will likely be hosting home playoff games. This weekend's originally scheduled game is now set for Friday May 11th at 7pm at the Capital One Arena. The Empire's next game is scheduled for 3pm on the road against the Baltimore Brigade. The Empire returns to the Times Union Center on Saturday May 5th against the Washington Valor at 730pm.

Don't forget you can listen to the Empire action all season long on ALT 1057. Plus every Saturday morning you can hear The State Of The Empire: The Albany Empire Coaches Show at 9am on 1045 The Team.
