Albert Haynesworth made an interesting comment to reporters on Thursday.  “It’s time for me, the sleeping giant, to awake and get back out there on the field and play football again.”

Haynesworth went on to say, “I read what you guys wrote, nothing personal, but I didn’t do much in D.C.  The scheme didn’t fit me and that stuff.   Now I can go out there and play get back to what I used to do.”

Haynesworth's best season was in 2008 when he recorded 8.5 sacks as a member of the Tennessee Titans.  He only recorded 2.5 sacks in eight games for the Redskins last season.  The Patriots will benefit greatly if Haynesworth can regain his 2008 form.
