Every year for the past 17 years the Siena Saints women's team have hosted the Pink Zone game. It's an opportunity to raise money and awareness to fight breast cancer while also celebrating the survivors.

Siena's website describes the evening as:

"The 18th Annual Siena Women's Basketball Pink Zone Game presented by C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital and CAPCOM benefiting To Life! is set for Friday, February 23rd when the Saints host Canisius College at 7 p.m. at the Alumni Recreation Center on the Siena College campus in Loudonville, N.Y. The Pink Zone Game honors local breast cancer survivors for their courageous battles against the disease, while aiming to raise money and awareness for the cause.

The event includes a Celebration of Survivorship at 5:30 p.m. in the Marcelle Athletic Complex. Just prior to tip-off, the Saints will hold a special survivor recognition, escorting local breast cancer survivors onto the court and recognizing them for their courageous battles against the disease."

This is an awesome example of female strength and courage on display for all to see. Please join in and celebrate a fun team and a great cause.
