Alonso Continues Record Breaking Rookie Season

The Pete Alonso story just keeps on getting better and better this season. Sunday he hit his 40th home run of the year, which breaks the National League Rookie record. And all of this from a player the Mets weren’t sure was going to make their 40 man roster coming out of Spring Training.
