Amare Stoudemire Out Indefinitely
Amare Stoudemire is out indefinitely with a budging disc in his back. Amare’s injury is similar to the one Baron Davis suffered last year, which required a surgery that kept him out for nine months. As of now the Knicks are saying that Stoudemire will not undergo surgery, although they have not ruled it out as a possibility. Stoudemire missed the final game of the Knicks playoff series loss to the Celtics last season due to back issues.
Additionally Jeremy Lin will miss tonight’s game against the Bucks with a sore right knee. Lin participated in some of today’s morning shoot around, but has been ruled out of the game. Lin is currently listed as day to day and may be able to return for Wednesday’s game against the Orlando Magic.
