Amsterdam Preps For Troy in Class A Super Bowl
This weekend is one of the best in Section II as its Super Bowl time! Class A provides us one of the best matchups of the weekend as Amsterdam is set to take on Troy (Saturday, 7 pm at Shen).
Earlier today, we spoke with Amsterdam head coach Doug Edick about that upcoming matchup.
We asked Edick about how his team upset unbeaten Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake to get to the final and we asked about the keys to beating a really good Troy team.
We also asked about the play of Bryan Stanavich, the running back who is closing in on 4,000 career yards in a Rams uniform.
He's one of the top backs in Section II and has certainly one of the most accomplished careers in Section II.
