Shenendehowa rising senior Ian Anderson continues to gain national attention this summer. Already committed to powerhouse Vanderbilt for college ball, Anderson has now made the United States Under-18 National Team.

The team will travel to Japan to play in the WSBC U-18 Baseball World Cup. The U.S. team has won gold medals in the last four world cups.

This USA Baseball program includes several major league players. Addison Russell of the Cubs is just one many names to wear the Red, White and Blue for the US U-18 team.

Anderson is throwing anywhere between 91-94 MPH right now and he is putting himself in a position to be a first-round draft pick next year.
