Ok this is a habit Devil fans can grow to like. For the 2nd straight game the Albany Devils rally in the 3rd period and get a win, this time at Binghamton 3-2.

Down 2-0 the Devs get goals from Matt Anderson, his 10th of the year, and the tying goal from Phil DeSimone with just over 9 minutes left forcing the game to over time. neither team scored in the 5 minute session so the game was decided in the shootout where the Devils outscored the Senators 3-2 and won the game by that same 3-2 score.

Jeff Frazee was the top star for Albany. He and fellow netminder Tim Lehner spent the night stopping shots. Frazee stopped 37 Binghamton chances while Lehner spit back 45 Albany chances. Frazee picks up his 4th win of the season.

The Devils hadn't had a 3rd period comeback all year until the last 2 games where they have rallied in the 3rd to get the wins. They rallied to beat Syracuse the game before.

Speaking of Syracuse they will be the opponent Wednesday night when the Devils finally return from their 5 game road trip. Faceoff is 7:00 P.M.

The Devils have now won 3 straight and gotten within a point of a playoff spot.

By the way speaking of Matt Amderson. he was named AHL player of the week. In 3 games Anderson recorded 7 points on 3 goals and 4 assists.
