While the New York Jets can rest a little easier following a big win yesterday in Pittsburgh, one player in particular is having "a case of the Mondays."

Rich Cimini from ESPNNewYork.com is reporting that Jets defensive lineman Shaun Ellis has been sued by a Seattle Seahawks fan for damages from a snowball Ellis threw at him following a loss in 2008. The incident was videotaped by another fan and posted on YouTube. Ellis was fined $10,000 by the league for his actions.

The Jets' 2010 season has been filled with one calamity after another. It all started in the preseason with the Darrelle Revis holdout, which was a complete mess within itself. Next was Braylon Edwards with the DWI incident in New York City, which led to a quarter-game suspension in Miami.

Then the Jets' idiotic coach Sal Alosi does a bush-league stunt against Miami, sticking his knee out when Nolan Carroll came by the sideline on punt coverage. But despite all of this, the Jets have maintained their composure.

Now that the Jets have salvaged their season and steered the ship towards a potential playoff berth, the ridiculous actions of Shaun Ellis two years ago have come back into the picture. The big question for the Jets is whether they can continue playing well, regardless of the continuous onslaught of off-the-field distractions.
