Associated Press Reports NFL Was Mailed Ray Rice Video Tape

In a potentially back-breaking report, the Associated Press has contradicted the NFL's assertion that they never obtained a copy of the video showing Ray Rice assaulting his then girlfriend.

Citing an unidentified law enforcement official, the AP is reporting that the NFL was sent, by this official, a copy of the tape on April 9th.  The story also quotes a voice mail from an NFL office number confirming the tape's arrival.

Questions will certainly need to be answered in the coming hours and days clarifying exactly what happened, but, again, the NFL has been caught up in a firestorm of contradictory statements, and public outrage.
