Yanks Rally, Beat O’s 4-3

After looking like a lifeless free falling ball club for the first 15 innings of the weekend series, the Yankees (76-56) rallied and beat the Baltimore Orioles (73-59) 4-3 on Saturday. Indians Stymie Yanks 3-1

It only took one early mistake from Hiroki Kuroda to decide the outcome of Saturday night’s game between the New York Yankees (73-53) and Cleveland Indians (55-71). Kuroda struggled through the first inning but eventually settled down and shut out the Indians for the rest of his outing, unfortunately for the Yankees Justin Masterson was just a little bit better for the Indians shutting the Yankees down for the most part and working in and out of jams en route to a 3-1 win

Ichiro Homers Twice, Yanks Beat Sox 4-1

Hiroki Kuroda continued to dominate opposing hitters in the Yankees (72-49) 4-1 victory over the Boston Red Sox (59-63) in the rubber game of the weekend series on Sunday night.  Kuroda coming off his two hit complete game shutout against Texas on Tuesday night nearly matched that performance going eight innings allowing one run on four hits and striking out four along the way
