Yankees Slug Past Orioles 11-10

The New York Yankees out-homered the Baltimore Orioles 11-10 in a wild Labor Day game at Yankee Stadium. The two clubs hit a total of seven home runs in the game with the biggest ones being Robinson Cano's grand slam and the first two of Jesus Montero's career. Freddy Garcia got roughed up in his start for the Yanks.

More Severe Weather Rolls Through Albany Area

Another round of severe weather impacted our weather on Sunday. This time, it was in the form of a tornado. I came across this video on facebook as it was tagged to a local meteorologist. This woman happened to be at the right place at the right time to capture the twister on video.

In the long conversation I had with this particular gentlemen, he pointed out that there are two time limit rules Major League Baseball umpires do not enforce anymore. One of which is specific to the amount of time a pitcher is required to deliver the ball.
