Worst Time of the NFL Season is Now

Yes, you read the title correctly. The opening of training camps and this portion of the NFL season is the worst. While you may think it's one of the best times in the season since football is back and starting up and all, it's actually, to me, the worst. Even worse than when after the Super Bowl is over.

The Red Sox once again solved CC Sabathia for the third time this season, as they roll to their 10-4 victory. The Yankees and the Red Sox are now tied atop the American League East standings. CC Sabathia gave up a season-high 7 runs in this game. His previous high was 6 runs, which he twice gave up to the Red Sox.

Battle in the Bay Area

On Friday night, the Philadelphia Phillies and the San Francisco Giants did battle, literally, at AT&T Park in San Francisco. In the top of the 6th, the Phillies had an 8-2 lead. They had the bases loaded with Shane Victorino at the plate. Ramon Ramirez was on the mound for the Giants. Ramirez had already given up 3 runs in that inning of work. So with frustration in the air and tensions high between the two teams, Ramirez took it out on Victorino.
