Kicker Billy Cundiff is Public Enemy #1 to Baltimore Ravens' fans after shanking this game-tying field-goal attempt.

This 32-yard missed field goal by Billy Cundiff ended the Baltimore Ravens chances to make it to the Super Bowl.  The Ravens lost to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game 23-20.  Tom Brady and the Patriots will now face the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI.

A lot of people are making a big deal out of Billy Cundiff rushing onto the field before his field goal attempt.  They don't think he was completely ready for the kick.  It didn't have as much of an impact on the kick as people are making it out to be.  The laces were not facing out when Cundiff kicked the ball.  That probably had more to do with the errant kick than Cundiff rushing onto the field.  Cundiff was set.  He had a good five seconds before the kick to compose himself.  The guy just simply missed the kick.
