Bethlehem Star Heading to Dayton

The big time college commitments keep coming for Capital Region stars, and this time we head to Bethlehem...

Giacone and her sister Gabby helped lead Bethlehem to the Section II, Class AA title this season. They beat the Plainsmen of Shenendehowa in the Class AA title game. Gabby earned a commitment to Northeastern and will begin playing their this year.

Ashley MIller of WNYT also provides another piece of insight on Jenna's commitment:

Jabir helped lead the Flyers to the Elite 8 this year at the Times Union Center. Dayton lost to UConn, who went on to win the NCAA championship.

Jabir went 50-29 in three seasons with Siena (1987-89) and was responsible for the development of the Saints first Freshman All-American. He had three consecutive winning seasons at Siena.

With the summer winding down, we can start to expect more commitment's to come rolling in. We are all waiting anxiously to see where Shen boys' star Kevin Huerter will commit.
