After a 21-0 win over the New York Giants on Saturday, life should be good for the Buffalo Bills and their fans - but that couldn't be further from the truth.

Buffalo is dealing with a multitude of key injuries this season including the loss of second-round pick Reggie Ragland for the season. The team is also without first-round pick Shaq Lawson until at least October.

If that wasn't bad enough, the Bills got news this week that star defensive tackle Marcell Dareus would miss four games as part of a suspension under the league's substance abuse policy. And on Saturday, Dareus announced he would enter rehab.

I'm all for Dareus doing what he has to do to get healthy and get his life on track, but the impact on the Bills is huge. He's an impact player and another key loss for Rex Ryan on that side of the ball.

And then on the offensive side of the ball? Rex loves to run and now he's without Karlos Williams, who the team released.

Williams was a big contributor to the 2015 Bills but was also suspended for the first four games this season. Now the Bills will focus on LeSean McCoy and Reggie Bush in the run game.

For a team looking to make the playoffs for the first time since 1999, this is not a good set of circumstances.
