Taylor, a former sixth-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens, signed with the Bills in March. In his first four seasons, Taylor only played in 14 games.

Head coach Rex Ryan, gave all the quarterbacks one more chance to battle it out for the job against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday. Taylor has stuck out as the lead candidate all training camp, as many have called him Ryan's guy. In three games, Taylor completed 24 of 31 passes for 236 yards and rushed for a touchdown.
