The Buffalo Bills addressed their immediate needs on defense early and often in the draft this year.

First round selection of Shaq Lawson is an immediate plug and play starter that pairs opposite of Jerry Hughes and will fill the void left by Mario Williams who departed for Miami.

Reggie Ragland fills the whole left by Kiko Alonso since he was traded prior to last season in exchange for RB LeSean McCoy. Ragland is your prototyplical linebacker who has a knack for finding the ball carrier and is also capable of getting in the backfield to drop the passer if needed.

Adolphus Washington adds great depth to their defensive line. A player who really plays to his strengths, Washington will be the premiere back-up to Marcell Dareus.

The selection of Cardale Jones in the 4th round likely means the end of the E.J. Manuel era in Buffalo as Jones will likely become the back-up to Tyrod Taylor. Should Jones improve his decision making, he could be the future starter for the team.

The addition of RB Johnathan Williams and WR Kolby Listenbee give the Bills a little bit more depth at the skilled positions.
