said “Kim, Russ and I look forward to working and collaborating with Doug Whaley and Rex Ryan in forming a winning future for the organization.  Our management team and coaching staff are very capable and work well together.  This stable foundation is necessary to achieve long term success in the NFL.”

The Bills are sitting at 7-8, with one game remaining against the New York Jets. Whaley, has been the General Manager for the Buffalo Bills since 2010, during that time span the team has went 38-57. He's been under scrutiny this season since, he released long time Bills running back Fred Jackson in preseason without consulting anyone.

With Whaley's contract up many believed he would be out after this season. The Pegula family will look to give the duo of Rex Ryan and Doug Whaley one more chance to turn the franchise around.
