The Buffalo Bills have not one but three potential options to start at Quarterback this NFL season. They signed coveted Bengals' backup AJ McCarron, They drafted University of Wyoming standout Josh Allen and last year's backup Nathan Peterman is still in the mix. After a trip to Bills training camp and a preseason game, I had thought Peterman looked like he could actually be in the mix for the starting job. Saratoga's own Jenna Cottrell covers the Bills for 13 WHAM out of Rochester and she sees big things in Josh Allen's future.

When I shared my observation of Nathan Peterman being a legit threat to start at QB, Cottrell threw her support behind the rookie. Allen's arm talent is undeniable and Cottrell believes he will be brought along slowly but may have already opened the eyes of Bills management and coaching staff to his potential. Allen has been taking second-team reps at camp. A promotion from a week ago when it was all third-team reps.
