With Mike Piazza set to get inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this weekend in Cooperstown, who better to bring in than former big league manager (including Piazza with the Mets) Bobby Valentine.

Bobby V joined Rodger Wyland on 'Big Board Sports' to talk about what made Piazza so good, the huge home run he hit at Shea Stadium in the first game back after the horrific Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, and he also offered some insight on Ken Griffey Jr.

Furthermore, Valentine spoke about the current state of the game and how to make the game more enjoyable for younger fans. Valentine is currently the athletic director at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut so we asked him about what he's been up to since he left Major League Baseball.

Finally, Valentine is touring the country helping out an elite summer league travel team, so we got his take on that.
