Sunday afternoon saw Brad Keselowski take the checkered flag for the second time this season winning the Aarons 499 at the Talladega SuperSpeedway.

The race saw alot of green flag racing throughout the afternoon with only one caution at lap 16 due to Regan Smith blowing the engine to his car.  But that wasn't the case the entire race , it wouldn't be a Talladega race with out a"Big One".  Landon Cassill, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Martin Truex Jr., Joey Logano, Juan Montoya, Aric Almirola and Dave Blaney all got caught up in an big crash breaking a second caution flag. Casey Mears would cause a third caution as he would blow a tire after going full throttle. Joey Lagano for a second time and Trevor Bayne would get caught up in the accident.

As is usually the case in a Super Speedway race,  with about 10 laps left the racing really got fast and furious. As  things started heating up Kurt Busch would spin out causing a fourth caution then shortly after another big wreck with  AJ Almendinger, Tony Stewart, Denny Hamilin, Paul Menard, Michael Waltrip  and many more would cause  the need for a Green-White-Checkered finish.

In the final 3 laps Matt Kenseth looked to have the race in hand getting a push from Greg Biffle, but Keselowski would ironically get a push from Kyle Busch and those two would battle it out to the finish with Brad getting the upper hand. It was Keselowski's sixth career victory and 2nd at Talladega. Kenseth would wind up third with Kasey Khane and Biffle rounding out the top 5.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will head to Darlington next Saturday for some racing under the lights  at the "Track Too Tough To Tame".  Coverage will start at 6:30 on FOX TV.
