The Yankees turned in quite the haul from the Chicago Cubs for closer Aroldis Chapman. The Cubs parted ways with top prospect Gleyber Torres, pitcher Adam Warren, and prospects Rashad Crawford and Billy McKinney.

How good can Torres, Crawford and McKinney be? We found out from Myrtle Beach Pelicans broadcaster Scott Kornberg, who has seen Torres and Crawford play this season.

Kornberg noted that Torres has the ability to hit all fields, can run, can play good defense in the middle of the infield and can hit with some power. He also talked about the raw athleticism of Crawford.

I personally love the move for the Yankees. They help rebuild a farm system that is lacking and acquire pieces that can really help for the future. Chapman was a free agent at the end of the year so they recoup some value and still have the option to bring him back next season if they want to sign him.
