Jenrry Mejia has thrown his last pitch as a member of the New York Mets. There's no doubt in my mind.

Mejia has been suspended permanently by Major League Baseball after a third positive test for PEDs.

This is unfathomable to me. I almost want to sympathize with Mejia and say that he's taking something unknowingly and this is all some great tragedy, but I don't even know if I can do that.

Mejia can apply for reinstatement in one year, but even if its granted, he has to wait two more years.

He is the first player to be permanently suspended for PED use and multiple PED suspensions.

Mejia is a guy who the Mets stuck by, he had a promising future with the Mets at one point. He has acted as both a starter and reliever in the majors, pitching to a 6-10 career record in 113 games. He has a career ERA of 3.68.
