Brittney Griner is far and away the best player to ever play women's college basketball, and she is sure to be the top overall pick in this year's WNBA Draft. However, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says that he might draft her in the second round of the NBA Draft.

Cuban, before the Mavericks game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, said that players drafted in the second round often don't succeed and that if she were able to make the team on her own merits that he would give her the chance to do so.

While there would be numerous challenges for Griner in transitioning to the more physical, more athletic men's game, her fundamentally sound style of play could work in limited minutes for a team if she was put into the right system, right?

We want to know what you think. Could Brittney Griner hold her own in the NBA or is the level of competition too high? Take our poll below and drop us a comment justifying your decision.
