Trevor Siemian is not a name you're probably fixating on ahead of Super Bowl 50. He's the third string quarterback for the Denver Broncos - behind Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler.

We caught up with Siemian at Media Day on Monday night and found out he has an interesting local connection. While in college at Northwestern, Siemian played with former Shenendehowa standout Corey Acker.

We asked Siemian about Acker and his time at Northwestern with head coach Pat Fitzgerald, as well as his experience learning from Peyton Manning.

We asked what it's like to learn from Manning and be in the same quarterback room as arguably the most studious quarterback in NFL history.

Reports say that Siemian is playing the part of Cam Newton at Broncos practice this week. Not a bad job for a guy who doesn't figure to play in the actual game - but a big time role.
