For the first time since 2008, the Nets drained 40 points in the initial 12 minutes of play.

Then old bones set in. You heard me.

Kevin Garnett went from going 6-of-6 to 2-for-13 on his final baker's dozen.

The Blazers have won 7 in a row and the Nets are an amazingly disappointing 3-7 with head coach Jason Kidd now getting some of the blame.

“Just bad coaching,” Kidd said, after the game. “I take the blame for this."

The Nets don't have any time to recover as they play Charlotte tonight in New York at 7pm.
