Prior to his tenure at Mohonasen, Brosious spent eight seasons on the Schenectady Christian bench.

His record at both schools speaks for itself, 181-85.

Brosious started the Mohonasen program (2008-09) in big fashion. The Mighty Warriors won the Suburban Council division championship and proceeded to beat Averill Park in the Class A sectional final for a 22-3 record.

Mohonasen eventually got beat in the state semifinals to complete a fine season.

For his effort, Brosious was named the Basketball Coaches Association Class A Coach of the Year.

In four years at Mohonasen, Brosious put together a 54-31 mark. Last year, the Warriors reached the sectional semifinals.

Brosious also enjoyed plenty of success at Schenectady Christian (now Mekeel Christian Academy). He guided the team to a 127-54 record including three Western Athletic Conference Southern Division crowns and two WAC Cup titles.

In 2006, Schenectady Christian captured a Section II Class C championship while his three other teams claimed second in the sectionals.

The 2008 squad made news by winning 22 straight games.

Like most coaches, Brosious wants to spend more time with his family.
