Thanks to our friends at Tech East Fire and Water Restoration Buster Olney joins us every Thursday at 5:15 pm. This week we not only talk about the New York Yankees recent trades but we also try to make sense of what the Mets are doing. Or not doing as the case may be.

First the Yankees have added Baltimore Orioles Closer Zach Britton to their already stellar bullpen. They are in the process of also adding Toronto Blue Jay All Star starting pitcher J.A. Happ. So the Yankees are making moves to get better and hopefully win it all. Meanwhile the Mets are doing nothing.

News is out the Mets star Yoenis Cespedes will miss a minimum of eight months after he has surgery on both heels. With Cespedes out and few good pitchers available it would make sense for the Mets to at least offer Jacob deGrom and see what they might get back.
