"I think the Cubs are going to win the World Series," Olney said to "Armen and Levack". "I think they become this irresistible force and the only question is can any team be a speed bump for them?

"They’re playing with so much confidence and such a well-rounded team. Joe Maddon has done such a phenomenal job with them and look I think that they got a good enough rotation with Arrieta and Jon Lester and they have that deep lineup, this time of year teams get shut down offensively and they have not been and that’s because they’re swinging the bat so well.

"I think I told you guys this last week, I really had thought all along that the team that had won the National League Wild Card Game was going to win the World Series."

Game 1 of the NLCS is at 8:07p ET Saturday night on 104.5 The Team.

ESPN's Buster Olney joins "Armen and Levack" every Thursday at 5:15p ET, sponsored by All Star Wine and Spirits, on 104.5 The Team.
