Recently, Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett said the team would give the ball to star running back C.J. Spiller until Spiller throws-up.  Later, head coach Doug Marrone told Hackett to chill out when talking to the media like that and Hackett retracted his statement.Well, Hackett shouldn't have retracted a damn thing.  Chan Gailey was a lost puppy as head coach of the team last year (What Bills coach hasn't been lost since Marv Levy?), partly because Spiller didn't get the ball enough.  Spiller is the best player on the team.  GIVE HIM THE DAMN BALL ALL THE FREAKING TIME!  Pass plays.  Run plays.  Reverses.    Whatever.  Spiller needs touches and touches and touches.  The Bills offense goes as Spiller goes.

Nathaniel Hackett is an innovator and likes skill players.  I covered him and Marrone at Syracuse for years.  And the one thing you have to love about these guys is their energy and taking chances.  Look, they might fail in Buffalo because it is Buffalo and they are not "NFL-experienced."  But at least these guys will go down swinging.

So, Nathaniel Hacket, give the ball to C.J. Spiller left and right.  And if he pukes, oh well.
