Over the last 3 unofficial weekends of summer, Brian Cady guided us through a local "College Football Tour," learning everything you need to know to get you ready for the 2012 College Football season in the Capital Region. Every Saturday during "Cady's Corner" from 10-11am, Brian was joined by a head coach from one of the area college programs - UAlbany, RPI and Union.

The third and final week of the tour was this past Saturday (September 1) with RPI acting head coach / defensive coordinator Bob Bodor, who is entering his 2nd season with the team and 1st as the head ball coach. During his time on "Cady's Corner" this past weekend, Coach Bodor discussed several issues, including:

  • The "changing of the guard" that took place within the program from Tim Landis to Guido Falbo, and eventually to himself
  • What improvements need to be made by the Engineers on both sides of the ball
  • A look ahead to their opener on September 8 vs. Alfred

This coming Saturday, Brian will begin a weekly check-in with ESPN3 play-by-play announcer Jared Schwartz for an update on his travels in the College Football world and preview all of the big games on the docket. You can check out the interview, plus all the other hard-hitting sports issues of the day on "Cady's Corner" this Saturday morning from 10-11am on 104.5 "The Team" ESPN Radio!
