Cady’s Corner – Episode 14 [AUDIO]

Today was the 14th week of “Cady’s Corner,” a 1-hour show covering all of the major headlines and games in College Football. Brian Cady will host the show every Saturday morning from 10-11am during the season, breaking down local and national teams every week.

Segment 1: With last week’s games playing out essentially as predicted by experts, Brian discussed just how much this weekend’s slate of games will truly impact the BCS standings and the Bowl Season matchups.

Segment 2: Brian was joined on the show by UAlbany Great Danes head football coach Bob Ford, discussing several issues including:

  • What it was like coaching against Stony Brook head coach Chuck Priore, a former UAlbany player and assistant coach
  • How Coach Ford injured his MCL during the Stony Brook without stepping off the sideline
  • Reviewing the 2011 season, which ended with an 8-4 overall record and a share of the Northeast Conference Title
  • An outlook for potential recruits and what needs will have to be addressed during Spring Ball

Segment 3: After amazing seasons for both players, Brian debated who he believes will be the better NFL quarterback – Matt Barkley or Andrew Luck. His answer, and the answers of some callers, may shock you.
