Robinson Cano smacked a clutch 2-run double in the bottom of the 7th inning to bring the New York Yankees from being down 4-3 to their 6-4 victory against the Toronto Blue Jays. David Robertson pitched two innings late to collect the save as the Yankees gave Mariano Rivera a breather.

Bartolo Colon had to gut out his start on Saturday. For a few batters, he looked untouchable, especially in the first inning as he struck out the side. He also performed similarly in the top of the 4th. However Colon struggled in the second and third innings as the Blue Jays had got to him.

In the end, Colon got the no-decision going 6 1/3 innings pitched giving up 7 hits, 4 runs, walking one and striking out 7. Again, a very up and down start as he good moment to strike out batters but then lost his command at the low to yield the 4 runs to the Blue Jays.

Alex Rodriguez was thumbs up and made his return to the Yankee lineup. A-Rod went 1-3 with a walk and a run scored in the game. Mark Teixeira did not play for the second straight game as he is recovering from the hit by pitch to his right knee in Boston.
