He talked with our station last week, and on Saturday afternoon Troy High School graduate Jordan Canzeri was a major reason why Iowa upset No. 19 Wisconsin on the road in Madison.

Iowa is now 5-0 after winning the Big 10 opener by a score of 10-6.

Canzeri was a workhorse for the Hawkeyes, carrying the ball 26 times for 125 yards. He also had one catch for 14 yards.

Canzeri's stellar season continues for the Hawkeyes. He has eight touchdowns on the year to go along with 441 total yards. He's averaging 5.0 yards per carry.

Canzeri is a big, strong back who is capable of running between the tackles. He told us last week that he has aspirations of entering the NFL Draft once the season ends.

You can listen to the interview with Canzeri here, as part of "Capital Region Sports Saturday." His segment starts at the 39:00 mark.

Iowa will take on Illinois next week.
