It's always nice to see local kids continue to make a difference in the local community.

Such is the case for Capital Region native Casey Job. The Troy High product and Hudson Valley Community College/Brockport grad is the head baseball coach at SUNY Adirondack.

Job is working to change the culture in Adirondack, as he inherited a team going into last season that hadn't seen a lot of success. The Wolves have already won four games this season and have posted big wins over Orange CC and Westchester CC.

The group opens up Mountain Valley Conference play on Saturday against defending champion Herkimer. Job joined us on Friday to talk about his team, how he's changed the culture in just his second year and he weighed in on Bryce Harper's comments that baseball is a "tired" sport.

Job still plays in the Albany Twilight League so we had to ask him about that as well.
